ROTARY SUPPORT FOR DISASTER VICTIMS

A Shropshire Rotary club is supporting relief efforts following the Morocco and Libya disasters. Members of Shrewsbury Severn Rotary Club have agreed to purchase a £600 ShelterBox. The ShelterBox will provide urgently needed equipment, including a tent, to support a family who have lost everything.

TOP ROTARIAN THROWS DOWN THE GAUNTLET

A top Rotarian has thrown down the gauntlet to a local Rotary club to recruit and retain new members. Dr Mukunda Chidrawar, who heads the Rotary district that includes Shropshire and Staffordshire, was paying his first visit to Shrewsbury and Shrewsbury Severn Rotary Club following his new appointment. His message was recruitment, retention and relevance.
