Our Rotary club is responding to a local school’s greater need for funding.
Shrewsbury Severn Rotary Club is increasing its annual donation to the Grange School from £1,000 to £1,250 after being told their need is now so much greater. Due to the cost of living crisis parents experiencing financial hardship are unable to purchase clothes and shoes for their children.
Last year Shrewsbury Severn Rotary Club donated £1,000 which the club has agreed to increase to £1,250 because the need is now so much greater.
Members were told by Rotarian Kerry Ferguson that the head would be ‘absolutely delighted’ with the increase due to the cost of living crisis.
