Farmers from under-developed countries are being supported by a local Rotary club. Shrewsbury Severn Rotary is making a further 10 loans each of £60 to entrepreneurs in the farming industries of Cambodia, Zambia, Vietnam, Rwanda and Ecuador. From its annual two major fundraising events, Shrewsbury Severn Rotary Club announced today a total of nearly £15,000 which will be earmarked for charity.
