Organisers declare Tree of Light Appeal "Outstanding Success"

Organisers Shrewsbury Severn Rotary Club have declared that their 2025 Tree of Light appeal has again been an ‘outstanding success.’

Announcing the campaign’s achievement, Rotary today reveal that donations to this year’s annual appeal have reached £4,500.

And they are hopeful they may hit the £5,000 mark by Christmas which they regard as an ‘outstanding achievement’ in the current economic climate.

Said Rotary’s Tree of Light organiser Gareth Watkins: “We would sincerely like to thank all our wonderful donors who continue to support us every year.

“Without their magnificent backing, and the money they donate, we would be unable to continue our support of the many local charities and good causes we help throughout the year.”

And he added: “A special thank you must go to Dyke Yaxley for their unwavering support with this fundraising appeal and without whose help we would be unable to continue.”
