SURPRISE TREAT FOR CHILDREN

Every child at a Shrewsbury primary school has been given a book as a Christmas gift.

In line with tradition, Shrewsbury Severn Rotary Club has once again presented books to The Grange School. A total of 170 books were distributed and there was an additional surprise treat for the children. Santa visited every classroom to pay seasonal greetings and present a wrapped book to each child.

“Once again, we are grateful to Shrewsbury Severn Rotary Club for their continued support which is much appreciated by the children as well as the staff,” said head teacher Charlie Summers. “The continual support from Rotary is greatly appreciated, not only at Christmas time, but throughout the year,” she added.
