Shrewsbury Severn Rotary Club has regrettably had to defer the planned Santa sleigh runs around Gains Park and Radbrook areas of Shrewsbury this Friday evening and at Mount Pleasant and Radio Shropshire on Saturday evening due entirely to scheduled weather forecasts.
Club chairman David Morris explains that the postponements are entirely due to the forecast of very poor weather in the area and the dangers this might present. “Rotarians are now therefore frantically re-working the forward schedule to slot these runs in again, but on alternative dates.
“Watch this space is the message! Santa will be with you as soon as the weather allows.”
