Shrewsbury Severn Rotary Club have gone top of the class – they passed all their tests with flying colours to win the praise of Shrewsbury Colleges Group.
Members of Shrewsbury Severn Rotary Club attended the group’s Star Awards event which they also once again sponsored. This year 26 students received their Star Awards that recognise their achievements after overcoming numerous challenges.
Club president Fred McDonough spoke and many nominees and their families expressed their joy at being recognised. Said clerk to the colleges board Tracy Cottee: “I am very proud of the Star Awards – as is the College and all the wonderful staff who support it – but it could not happen without the Rotary. Once again, thank you all so much for your support. It means so much to us.”
