A Rotary club is again supporting two initiatives – and seeking members involvement in one of them.
Crucial Crew is running their annual event at Nesscliffe Army Barracks between June 6 and 17 and Shrewsbury Severn Rotary Club has been asked to provide support for marshalling and other duties. Members have been asked to consider the organisers’ request for support with the club agreeing to make a £300 donation to the initiative.
In addition, Shrewsbury Severn Rotary Club has agreed to support the Shrewsbury Colleges Star Awards which recognise student achievements, often gained under difficult personal circumstances. The event will take place at Shrewsbury Colleges London Road site on June 30 and Shrewsbury Severn Rotary Club will donate £250. A club representative will also attend the awards.
