Shrewsbury Severn Rotary Club was delighted with the presentation by ‘Supervet’ Noel Fitzpatrick as well as being grateful for the proceeds from the special event, which they will distribute to local charities as well as needy local causes.
The Supervet gave an outstanding performance to a near sell out audience at Theatre Severn in what was a most ambitious fundraising project – the biggest of its kind that Shrewsbury Severn Rotary Club has undertaken.
Joint organiser Rotarian Julian Wells, himself a fellow vet, said: “Noel was very entertaining and the audience really warmed to his exciting presentation which had them eagerly anticipating the next revelation.
“I have known Noel for some years and I was confident he would captivate a Theatre Severn audience as well as bringing something very special – and very different – to Shrewsbury. I have warmly congratulated him, but the audience reaction at the end of the presentation said it all. The applause was the biggest thank you we can give him for an evening those who were there will remember for a long time to come.”
The Supervet presentation at Theatre Severn was off-on due to Covid-19 and members of Shrewsbury Severn Rotary Club were both relieved and pleased when confirmation of his appearance could be publicised.
Shrewsbury Severn Rotary Club wishes to thank the Shropshire Star for what Julian described as their ‘excellent’ online coverage of the event as well as the follow-up piece in the paper.
